Week 9 Players Of The Week In North Georgia

Uncategorized

Fannin- Sr. Corbin Davenport, 2/2 59 yards, 1 passing TD, 28 carries 337 yards, 6 rushing TDs, 6 tackles and 2 TFL

Davenport did just about everything for the Rebels on Friday night as he led his team with 7 total touchdowns while also leading Fannin County in passing yards, rushing yards, TFL, and finished 2nd on the team with 6 tackles. What an incredible game for the senior.

Pickens- Kaleb Nicholson

Gilmer- Sr. RB Brock Titus 20 carries 103 yards, 5.2 YPC

In perhaps the upset of the year for this region, Pickens stunned the Bobcats. However, despite the loss Titus still had a productive night leading Gilmer in rushing yards.

Union- Jr. QB Caiden Tanner 24/31 403 yards, 4 passing TDs, 16 carries 59 yards, 3 rushing TDs

Wow this kid is unreal. Tanner totaled 462 yards and 7 touchdowns helping his Panthers continue their big season. Tanner has been dominant for this team all year and I am excited to see where he leads this Panthers team down the stretch.

White- So. QB Tripp Nix 4/4 153 yards, 2 passing TDs, 3 carries 61 yards, 2 rushing TDs

Nix finally turned in a nice performance in region play and one similar to what we saw early on this season. Nix had a pair of TDs in the air and on the ground, helping give the Warriors a huge 49 point advantage in the first half.

Dawson- So. QB Davis Glass 6/8 174 yards 2 passing TDs, 14 carries 49 yards, 1 rushing TD

The sophomore QB came up clutch late in the game to tie the game and eventually give the lead and the victory to the Tigers. He once again made his presence felt in the air and on the ground.

North Murray- Jadyn Rice

Chatooga- Jr. DL Richard Bass 14 total tackles

The Indians were shutout by Trion this last Friday night, but Bass did his part leading the defense in tackles.
