Week 5 Players of the Week

As we wrap up Week 5, here are last weeks Players of the Week for their schools!

Chatooga- Billy Settlemoir (Senior, LB)

7 tackles / 2.5 TFL / 1 PD

Thanks to Settlemoir leading the way on defense, the Indians were able to hold Murray County to just 7 points, winning 28-7.

White- Kane Lowery (Senior, WR)

5 receptions / 63 yards / 2 KR

Despite the Warriors losing to Stephens County, Lowery did all he could as he led the team in receptions and receiving yards, while also getting involved in the return game. 

Pickens- Mason Powell (Senior, LB)

12 tackles / 1 TFL / 1 sack / 1 QB hurry

Mason Powell made his presence felt in this one as he tied the team lead for tackles and was able to get in the backfield a few times in this one. His defensive efforts helped the Dragons pick up their first win of the season. 

Union County- Jensen Goble (Junior, WR)

7 receptions / 74 rec yds / 2 rec TDs

Goble led the Panthers in receiving yards and was second on the team in TDs. Thanks to his performance, Union was able to blow out West Hall 48-7 this last Friday night.

Fannin County- Carson Callihan (Sophomore, RB/DB)

6 Carries / 84 yds / 2 rushing TDs / 1 INT return TD / 6 total tackles / 3 total TD

Making his presence felt on both sides of the ball is what won Callihan this award. He led the team in rushing yards, TDs, and was able to pick up a defensive score on his Pick 6. Callihan led the way as the Rebels had this one wrapped up by halftime, winning 56-30 over the Murphy Bulldogs.
