Multiple Thefts at Rabun County Wal-Mart
News, Police & Government August 23, 2019Clayton, Ga – Rabun County Walmart has experienced several thefts over two week period, and deputies are asking citizens for help.
On August 22, two Caucasian males entered the superstore and stole $350 worth of cellphones before leaving in a green truck. One individual was identified, but authorities are still searching for his accomplice.

Wal-Mart also experienced a robbery on August 12, but deputies have since arrested the individual responsible for those crimes. The male and his female associate were vandalizing vending machines for cash.
Murphy indicated that thefts occur regularly at large stores like Wal-Mart, but he remains confident that they’ll locate the perpetrators.
